At its heart, the film talks about identity, belonging and what it really means to chase the American Dream. The makers say the story is personal but also something many people across the world will relate to.
Mohit Raina shared that the project feels special to him because of its honest take on identity. “This project is very close to my heart because it explores identity and belonging in a deeply honest way,” he said.
Adding that being part of the first collaboration between Azure Entertainment and Red Bison Productions makes it even more meaningful.

“Being part of Azure Entertainment and Red Bison Productions’ first Indo-Hollywood collaboration makes it even more special, as it represents a meaningful step toward global storytelling,” as quoted by Variety.
Priya Mani said she connected with the story almost immediately, “What drew me to this film instantly was the emotional truth of the story. I’m grateful to be part of a project that brings together such committed collaborators to tell a story that will connect with audiences across borders.” she shared.

She also expressed gratitude for being part of a team trying to tell a story that can connect with audiences across borders.
The film will be shot in multiple locations. In the US, scenes will be filmed in New York and New Jersey. In India, the team will shoot in Delhi and Jammu-Kashmir.
Principal photography is expected to begin in April. The scale of the shoot reflects the story itself, one that moves between two worlds.
Romila Saraf Bhat, founder of Red Bison Productions, believes the story needed a global canvas from the beginning.
She said the narrative demanded an honest and cinematic treatment that could reach audiences worldwide.
With Priya Mani and Mohit Raina leading the film, the team hopes to create something that feels both personal and universal.
For Azure Entertainment, this project marks a turning point. CEO and co-founder Prashant Ramesh Mishra described it as a defining moment for the company as it steps into global cinema.
He said the film goes beyond borders and looks at shared human experiences like aspiration, loss and resilience.
Interestingly, the film was first announced in 2023 under a different title and with a different cast. It has now been reworked and relaunched as a fresh Indo-US collaboration.
Further casting announcements and the official title are expected soon.
Azure Entertainment has previously backed films like Rocky Handsome, Badla, and Kesari. Red Bison Productions’ credits include Bhaag Bawre Aandhi Aayi.
With this new venture, both companies are aiming to reach a wider, international audience.
